崛起 Rise Up
“没有一个民族的崛起是命中注定的，崛起，必须自己争取。”1949年，在我们这片饱经战乱、分裂与贫穷的土地上建立起了一个新政权，新中国就此诞生。
“No nation’s prosperity is preordained. It must be earned.”In 1949, a new regime was established in our war-torn, divided and impoverished land, and a new China was born.
致敬Salutations
这个一贫如洗的国家，如何才能快速发展？如何才能使人民过上好日子？如何才能屹立于世界东方？
How can this impoverished country grow fast? How can we make a better life for our people? How can we gain prosperity in the east of the world?
先辈们为此做出了巨大贡献。1950年初，11万筑路大军进西藏，他们领到的武器不是钢枪而是铁锤、钢钎和十字镐。他们以自己的血肉之躯硬生生在世界屋脊的悬崖峭壁上开辟了一条天路。隐姓埋名28年的邓稼先，将自己的毕生精力无私地奉献给了祖国，奉献给了祖国的核武器发展事业。还有钱学森、钱三强、郭永怀、程开甲、南仁东、黄大年……在70年的岁月里，一批又一批的杰出的科学家，他们放弃国外优越的研究条件，他们放弃功名隐姓埋名，默默无闻地奉献着，他们让中国人挺直了腰杆。

徜徉在历史长河之畔，置身于神州大地之上。漠北之雪带来朔风的问候，江南之风吹来南方的祝福，我热衷于脚下的黄土，我赞美心中的祖国。

望着历经沧桑的穹宇，见浮云伴旭日东升，千百年的文明从这里发源；无数可歌可泣的故事，在这大地上上演。历经朝代走马灯似的换来换去，也从未改变她的博大和悠远。她也有过汉唐的辉煌，也有过近代的耻辱。西方殖民者的大炮打开了中国厚重的国门，闭关锁国，在轰鸣的大炮前，显得是那么的不堪一击。鸦片战争拉开了中国近代屈辱的序幕，悲惨之余，一个个不平等条约纷沓至来。甲午战争、鸦片战争等，让中国落下了“东亚病夫”的笑柄。贵为四大文明古国之一的中国，昔日的辉煌，一瞬间成了过眼云烟，昔日的中国竟沦落到这般田地。
