新学期，国际理解课程新推“主题日”活动了！本学期，我们将围绕一些热点话题，和同学们一起探究身边的热点问题，期待每一位同学的积极参与哦！本学期，外事处拟开展以下热点问题的讨论和分享，请同学们针对自己感兴趣的话题积极投稿哦！
1. 手机是否应该进校园（Mobile Phones in schools, YES or NO？）
2. 垃圾分类（Waste Sorting）
3. 中美关系（China—US relations）
4. 中外礼仪（The Chinese and foreign etiquette）
5. 文学与网络（Literature and the Internet）
2021年3月19日，国际理解系列课程主题日活动之——Mobile Phones in schools, YES or NO? （手机利弊）在四川省双流艺体中学学术厅2楼录播教室顺利进行。
此次活动由双流艺体中学外事办及高2023届英语教研组主办，活动旨在丰富校园文化，提高学生学习英语的兴趣和积极性，为学生提供一个施展才华、展现风采的舞台。本阶段比赛中，高2023届各个班（除去日语班）以学生自愿报名或老师推荐方式报名并准备统一主题，全年级进行筛选，选出具有潜力的讲述者。
中午12：50，高2023届参赛选手相聚学术厅，就演讲主题“Mobile Phones in schools, YES or NO? ”开展个人论述。
首先，主持人介绍演讲比赛中的系列规则及在场评委。
开场白结束，比赛正式开始，每位参赛选手有序上台进行演讲，评委们按内容、语音、语调、流利度及仪态等方面打分。台上选手都做足了准备，纷纷以强有力的论据证明自己的观点，展现了高一学生较为良好的英语学习能力。

My name is Wanghong. I am from Class 3, Senior 1.
With the development of science and technology，mobile phones are used more and more frequently.Whether students can bring mobile phones into school also becomes a problem.
In my opinion，I don’t think students should bring mobile phones into school.First of all,it does harm to their eyesight because of watching the mobile phones for a long time.Secondly, students always break up the rules by cheating in the examinations with mobile phones ，which had a bad influence on their study.
In a word,I strongly believe that students shouldn't bring mobile phones into school.Because it’s not right to use mobile phones at school.We should try our best to use them in correct ways.
随着科学和技术的发展，手机的使用越来越广泛。学生是否可以把手机带进校园也成了一个问题。
在我看来，我认为学生不应该把手机带进校园。首先，长时间看手机对他们的视力有害。第二，学生们总是违反规定在考试时用手机作弊，这对他们的学习有很不好的影响。
总的来说，我强烈相信学生不应该把手机带进校园。因为在校园内使用手机是不对的。我们应该尽我们所能以正确的方式来使用它。

Hello, everyone! I’m Suxinran, Susan, from class 8, senior 1. I like dancing, singing and listening to music. I love music, so I want to be a music teacher in the future. To achieve it, I’ll try my best to work harder !
I'm very glad to talking about" should middle school students be allowed to bring their phones to school or not". Well, my answer is" not".
To begin with, as a middle school student,I know if I bring my phone, I will want to play it every day, so my attention on study will move to my phone, and I believe that most of the students are also like me.This is because we are too young to control ourselves, and we are immature.
What's more, it's no need for us to bring our phones to school, if we have trouble, we can ask the teachers for help.
Last but not the least, I think middle school students should focus on their studies. Now, someone will say“we can't keep learning, we also need some relax！‘’However, I think there are many ways to relax, such as walking, reading ,singing and so on, but it doesn't have to be mobile phone.
All in all, bringing phone is not good for us, so my answer is"not".

非常高兴谈论“中学生是否该被允许带手机进学校？”我的答案是不行。
首先，作为一名中学生，我知道如果我带了手机到学校，我会整天想着玩手机，所以我的注意力就会转向我的手机，相信很多同学都会有同样的感受吧。这是因为我们太年轻了，缺乏自控力，我们还很不成熟。其次，在学校里我们没有什么需要使用手机的必要。如果我们有麻烦，我们可以需求老师的帮助。更重要的是，我认为中学生应该把注意力都放在学习上，现在有很多学生说我们不能一直学习，还需要放松。但我认为放松的方式很多，如散步，阅读，唱歌等，不需要手机。
本次国际理解主题日活动，根据高中生学习、生活中的长谈话题，通过分享的形式充分展现同学们对手机问题的深度思考，同时锻炼了他们英语的表达和运用能力。
本月的国际理解主题活动暂告一段落，期待我们的同学能在今后学习中有意识地提升自己的思辨、思考能力，保持一种认真的态度。让我们共同期待同学们带给我们口才与智慧相结合的盛宴吧！
